ޗިލްޑްރަންސް އޮމްބަޑްސްޕަރސަންގެ އޮފީހަށް މައްސަލަ ހުށަހެޅުމަށް "ޓޯލް ފްރީ" ނަންބަރު 1656 އިފްތިތާހުކޮށްފި
'Toll-free' number 1656 launched to lodge complaints- Children's Ombudspersons’ office
The Office of the Children's Ombudsperson was established on July 23, 2020, under the Child Rights Protection Act no. 19/2019. Today marks the two-year anniversary of its inception. The office was established to monitor the implementation of the Child Rights Protection Act and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
The office also encourages the state institutions concerned to assess the effectiveness of the Child Rights Protection Act and take all necessary steps to implement it. The Children's Ombudsperson's office is responsible for overseeing all issues concerning children's rights and welfare, as well as assessing government compliance with the Child Rights Protection Act.
The official toll-free number "1656" of the Children's Ombudsperson's office has been launched to mark the day. The purpose of this hotline number is to make it easier for the public to file their complaints at this office. The office will investigate cases of negligence on the part of state agencies and their staff working in the interest of children.
The ways in which complaints can be filed at this office are by dialing our toll-free number (1656), by emailing [email protected], through the "complaint form," through a letter, or by attending the office. A case can also be filed anonymously with our office.
ޤާނޫނު ނަންބަރު 2019/19 (ކުޑަކުދިންގެ ޙައްޤުތައް ރައްކާތެރިކުރުމުގެ ޤާނޫނު)ގެ ދަށުން 23 ޖުލައި 2020 ގައި ޗިލްޑްރަންސް އޮމްބަޑްސްޕަރސަންގެ އޮފީސް އުފެދި މި އަދަކީ މި އޮފީސް ވުޖޫދުވިތާ 2 އަހަރު ފުރޭ ދުވަހެވެ. މި އޮފީހުގެ މައިގަނޑު މަސްޢޫލިއްޔަތުތަކަކީ ކުޑަކުދިންގެ ޙައްޤުތައް ރައްކާތެރިކުރުމުގެ ޤާނޫނާއި، އ.ދ ގެ ކުޑަކުދިންގެ ހައްޤުތަކާބެހޭ ބައިނަލްއަޤްވާމީ މުޢާހަދާއަށް ދައުލަތުގެ މުއައްސަސާތައް ޢަމަލު ކުރާ މިންވަރު ދެނެގަތުމާއި، ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގައި ކުޑަކުދިންގެ ޙައްޤުތައް ރައްކާތެރިކޮށްދިނުމުގައި ޙަރަކާތްތެރިވާ އިދާރާތަކާއި މުވައްޒަފުން މޮނިޓަރކޮށް، އިވެލުއޭޓްކުރުމާއި، ދިވެހިރާއްޖޭގައި ކުޑަކުދިންގެ ޙައްޤުތައް ރައްކާތެރިކޮށްދިނުމުގައި ޙަރަކާތްތެރިވާ އިދާރާތަކާއި މުވައްޒަފުންގެ ޢަމަލުތައް ތަޙުޤީޤުކޮށް މުޠާލިޢާކުރުމެވެ.
މި ދުވަސް ފާހަގަކުރުމުގެ ގޮތުން ޗިލްޑްރަންސް އޮމްބަޑްސްޕަރސަންގެ އޮފީހުގެ ރަސްމީ ޓޯލް ފްރީ ނަންބަރު (ހިލޭ ގުޅޭ ނަންބަރު) 1656 ވަނީ އިފުތިތާހްކޮށްފައެވެ. މި ހޮޓްލައިން ނަންބަރުގެ ބޭނުމަކީ އާންމުންނަށް މި އޮފީހަށް މައްސަލަތައް ފަސޭހަކަމާއެކު ހުށަހެޅޭނެ އިންތިޒާމެއް ހަމަޖެއްސުމެވެ.
މި އޮފީހުން ތަޙްޤީޤުކުރާނީ ކުޑަކުދިންގެ މަސްލަޙަތު ހިމެނޭ މަސައްކަތްކުރާ ދައުލަތުގެ އިދާރާތަކާއި، އެ އިދާރާތަކުގެ މުވައްޒަފުންގެ އިހުމާލެއް އޮތްކަމަށް ބެލެވޭ މައްސަލަތަކެވެ. މި އޮފީހަށް ކާކުކަން ނޭނގޭނެހެންވެސް މައްސަލަ ހުށަހެޅިދާނެވެ.
މި އޮފިހަށް މައްސަލަ ހުށަހެޅޭނެ ގޮތްތަކަކީ، ޓޯލް ފްރީ ނަންބަރު 1656 ގުޅައިގެންނާއި، [email protected] އަށް އީމެއިލްކޮށްގެންނާއި، "މައްސަލަ ހުށަހަޅާ ފޯމް" މެދުވެރިކޮށްނާއި، ސިޓީ މެދުވެރިކޮށް އަދި އޮފީހަށް ހާޒިރުވެގެނެވެ.
