ޗިލްޑްރަންސް އޮމްބަޑްސްޕަރސަންގެ އޮފީހުން، ޖުވެނައިލް ޑިޓެންޝަން ސެންޓަރަށް ޒިޔާރަތްކޮށްފި
Team of Children's Ombudsperson’s office visits the juvenile detention center
The Office of the Children's Ombudsperson visited the juvenile detention center today.
The visit was attended by Children's Ombudsperson Niumaath Shafeeq and the team of the Compliance and Enforcement Department of the office. During the visit, the office of the Children's Ombudsperson monitored the newly established center under the Juvenile Justice Act to see if it had fulfilled the requirements of the law to be completed at the time of setting up the center.
They met with children in juvenile detention center and assessed the extent to which they could be provided with the rights and services they deserved under the law. During the visit, a team of senior officials of the correctional service also met with the team from the office to discuss the functioning of the Juvenile Detention Center.
During the visit, information was collected at the Juvenile Detention Center on the Child Rights Protection Act and the Juvenile Justice Act. If there is any need to improve on the basis of the information received during the visit, it will be shared with the concerned authorities. The children's ombudsperson’s office will also regularly monitor the implementation of the shared activities.

މި ޒިޔާރަތުގައި ޗިލްޑްރަންސް އޮމްބަޑްސްޕަރސަން ނިޢުމާތު ޝަފީޤުގެ އިތުރުން މި އޮފީހުގެ ކޮމްޕްލަޔަންސް އެންޑް އެންފޯސްމަންޓް ޑިޕާޓްމަންޓުން ބައިވެރިވިއެވެ.
ކުޑަކުދިންގެ ޢަދުލުގެ ޤާނޫނުގެ ދަށުން އަލަށް ޤާއިމްކޮށްފައިވާ މި ސެންޓަރަށް ޗިލްޑްރަންސް އޮމްބަޑްސްޕަރސަންގެ އޮފީހުންކުރި މި ޒިޔާރަތުގައި ސެންޓަރު ޤާއިމްކުރާއިރު ފުރިހަމަކުރަންޖެހޭކަމަށް ޤާނޫނުގައި ލާޒިމްކޮށްފައިވާކަންކަން ފުރިހަމަވެފައިވޭތޯ ބަލައި މޮނިޓަރކޮށްފައިވެއެވެ.
އަދި ޖުވެނައިލް ޑިޓެންޝަން ސެންޓަރުގައިތިބި ކުދިންނާއި ބައްދަލުކޮށް އެކުދިންނަށް ޤާނޫނުގެ ދަށުން ކަށަވަރުކޮށްދޭންޖެހޭ ޙައްޤުތަކާއި ލިބެންޖެހޭ ޙިދުމަތްތައް ފޯރުކޮށްދެވޭ މިންވަރު ދެނެގަނެވިފައިވެއެވެ. މީގެ އިތުރުން ޖުވެނައިލް ޑިޓެންޝަން ސެންޓަރުގެ މަސައްކަތްތަކާއި ގުޅޭގޮތުން ކަރެކްޝަނަލް ސަރވިސްގެ އިސްވެރިންގެ ޓީމަކާވެސް މިޒިޔާރަތުގެ ތެރެއިން ބައްދަލުކޮށްފައިވެއެވެ.
މި ޒިޔާރަތުގައި ޖުވެނައިލް ޑިޓެންޝަން ސެންޓަރުގައި، ކުޑަކުދިންގެ ޙައްޤުތައް ރައްކާތެރިކުރުމުގެ ޤާނޫނާއި ކުޑަކުދިންގެ ޢަދުލުގެ ޤާނޫނު ތަންފީޛުކުރެވޭ މިންވަރު ވަޒަންކޮށް މަޢުލޫމާތު ހޯދާފައިވެއެވެ. އަދި މި ޒިޔާރަތުގައި ލިބުނު މަޢުލޫމާތުގެ އަލީގައި އިޞްލާޙުކޮށް، އިތުރަށް ހަރުދަނާކުރަންޖެހޭ ކަމެއް ފާހަގަކުރެވޭނަމަ، އެކަންކަން ކަމާގުޅޭ ޢިދާރާތަކާއި ޙިއްސާކުރާނެއެވެ. އަދި އެ ޙިއްޞާކުރާ ކަންކަން ތަންފީޛުކުރާ މިންވަރުވެސް ޗިލްޑްރަންސް އޮމްބަޑްސްޕަރސަންގެ އޮފީހުން ގަވާއިދުން މޮނިޓަރކުރަމުންގެންދާނެއެވެ.
